At La Madeleine we do not have a written menu. Rather we treat customers to the personal attention of Chef Leusch who visits each table individually to describe the ever changing specials of the day. Value for money is extremely important to us at La Madeleine and while individual items will vary in cost the average price range for starters is approximately R85 – R100 while main meals are R190 – R220 and desserts are R60 – R90. Our ever popular Sunday lunch three course set menu is R280 per head.

While menu items vary daily according to season and Chef inspiration customers can expect the likes of Cognac-infused crab bisque, Scallops on a bed of butternut puree with crushed hazelnuts, Lambs brains and sweet breads (Soetvleis) in winter or Ravioli La Madeleine style.

Main course

Duck with exotic flavours or Springbok in red wine sauce with cranberries (very successful with our guests from overseas ) or lamb or fresh fish of the day or fresh wild prawns.

Sweet toothed types can rest assured with the likes of Crème Brulée or homemade sorbet ice cream or almond cake with white chocolate mousse with strawberry marmalade and sorbet.
